About Us
We're a charity dedicated to improving mental health support for neurodivergent people. We work to combine lived experience, evidence-based resources, and community connection to help wherever we can.
Our mission
At neurobetter, we believe that neurodivergent people deserve better mental health support. We understand that conditions like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and dyspraxia can significantly impact mental wellbeing, particularly when it comes to emotional regulation and executive functioning.
Our mission is to create a world where neurodivergent people have access to the right information, tools, and support networks they need to maintain good mental health, develop effective coping strategies, and stay safe. In many places, NHS services aren't available to help neurodivergent people who are struggling, and as much as possible, we'd like to bridge that gap.
Who we are
We're a registered charity managed by our trustees, working with a wider volunteer team. Our Board of Trustees is made up of individuals with direct lived experience of neurodivergence and mental health challenges, as well as those who support people who do. We bring together diverse experiences from:
- Charity leadership
- Mental health and wellbeing support
- Psychology and research professionals
- Technology and data analysis
We're currently looking for additional trustees to join us, for a one to three year term.
We're assisted by a team of volunteers who generously volunteer their time to help us with content research and creation, community moderation, and peer support.
How you can help us
We're a registered charity, and we rely on your donations, as well as from grants, trusts, and corporate partnerships.
We're also building a number of paid services (such as workplace training) to deliver in 2025.
